Industrial Design

Industrial Design Protection Period of Industrial Design protection is 10 (ten) years.
Industrial Designs Obtaining Protection:

• Industrial Design Right shall be granted to a new Industrial Design;
• Industrial Design shall be considered as new if on the filling date, such Industrial Design is not similar to any prior disclosure;
• Prior disclosure, as referred to above point (2) is the disclosure of Industrial Design before Filling date; or
• Priority date when application is filed by priority right
• Has been announced or used in Indonesia or outside Indonesia.

Industrial Designs not Obtaining Protection An Industrial Design Right shall not be granted if such Industrial Design is in conflict with the prevailing law and regulations, public order, religion, and morality.
